Absolutely amazing steak restaurant! We actually wanted to eat at three different restaurants during our weekend trip to Leipzig, after our first dinner experience at Steaktrain we decides to eat there three nights in a row and we were amazed every time! Steak and fish were perfectly cooked, the staff extremely friendly! We will definitely come again! ❤

We started an attempt based on the good reviews and were not disappointed. The service is nice, friendly and quick. The steak to the point, just as it was ordered. A small print for me personally: a baked potato still wrapped in aluminum foil and then the herb quark on the foil. Personally, I don't like it, but there are certainly many who have no problem with it. Still an absolute tip and very tasty. Many thanks again at this point.

Unfortunately, our reservation didn't work out, therefore one star less. The food was impeccable and the staff very friendly and accommodating. The wine recommendation was great too. We will be back.

Exactly perfect to be able to taste a dessert afterwards. The table decorations on the tables and in the entire restaurant are reasonable and tasteful. The bathroom is always clean and all in all, the restaurant makes a good impression. The service is always very keen and friendly without ceasing! I found the offer particularly appealing.

Those who want to eat well and comfortably are in good hands there. The waitresses are absolutely friendly and personable. The food is great, the steaks are really a dream, the choice of side dishes is exorbitantly large. The drinks are nicely chilled and the prices are absolutely justified. Anyone who does not give 5 stars here has absolutely no idea about fine dining. Absolute recommendation !!! We'll be back ❤

Satisfied all round! We had the porterhouse steak and an Argentinian fillet fried to the point as ordered. The advice given by the staff regarding the side dishes and sauces to choose from was very helpful and consistent. Finally well-trained service staff who also enjoy their work! The food was heavenly, the beer was freshly tapped and the extraordinary atmosphere rounded off our evening perfectly. We recommend! It's funny that instead of sweets, there are beefjerky when paying. Finally something for big kids 😉

Very good steaks fried exactly to the point. The side dishes are also very tasty. We particularly liked the waitresses. Super nice and attentive.

Wow! Praise to the kitchen. All of the dishes were perfect. The meat is amazing and the service very friendly and courteous. The train concept is also something special. At the beginning there was a greeting from the kitchen and a small gift (beef jerky) as a farewell. The coconut panna cotta with pineapple parfait is highly recommended. The price level is rather high, but quality has its price :)

I've already eaten quite a few steaks and was sometimes more and sometimes less satisfied, but the steaks in the steak train are absolutely next level! I have never eaten such tender and tasty steaks. The staff is perfect, you feel very, very comfortable, you will be happy to come back. Please keep it up! I can only warmly recommend everyone, thumbs up! 11/10! :)

Absolutely the best Meat in Leipzig. What a wonderful experience, from the back in time in a train carriage feeling you get as you walk in, to the wonderfully friendly and helpful waitrons to the sublime steak cooked to perfection with tasty side orders. The prices are on the high side but in the end you get what you pay for which is a wonderful culinary delight and a must return to steakhouse! Great for work dinners especially with foreign guests!

The restaurant is located in the basement, but the decoration is done at a good professional level that you don’t notice. This is a restaurant in national Saxon cuisine, rather mixed European. The design is made in the style of a restaurant car and tables just like in a composition restaurant and steam trains pass by in a window. Steaks are prepared from Argentinean meat or locally sourced meat. Steaks, degree of frying Medium, tender. Pink inside and with juice. Despite our late visit, at 21.30, we received an order and the meat was wonderful. There is draft and bottled beer, light and dark, in mugs of 0.3 and 0.5 liters. Friendly and attentive service. Nice cozy atmosphere. The check for three was 106 €. We really enjoyed the dinner at this restaurant. Recommend.

After a long drive the restaurant was recommended by our hotel and the recommendation was worth it. Very attentive service and delicious food. If you book a table then please point out that you want to sit in the train compartment that makes it a little nicer. The prices are already settled in the higher area but you can choose from a variety of sauces and side dishes each 2 and they are really good.

The steak is delicious, and the side menu is also enough for two of us. When you think about taste and quantity, the price is also ok. Above all, the attitude of warm and friendly staff makes food feel more delicious :)

There service was absolutely AMAZING provided great suggestions about drinks and the menu. The place was very clean and had a great atmosphere. I would suggest making a reservation. The also have a tendency to cook the steak under what you want but they had zero issues fixing it for you and they also brought out all new sides for my friend whose steak was under cooked. I was completely with the restaurant and I would go back.
